d3dx11_43.dll trips people up with its name: the 11 suggests modern DirectX 11, but the file is a helper library from the same 2010-era DirectX runtime as d3dx9_43 - and Windows 10/11 do not include it either. Games of the early DirectX 11 generation ask for it, and the cure is the same one that has worked for a decade: Microsoft's free DirectX End-User Runtime, one run, all the legacy helpers restored.

Download the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from Microsoft's official site and run it. It installs the legacy helper libraries - d3dx11_43.dll among them - next to the DirectX your Windows already has. Then start the game again.
The D3DX11 helpers never shipped inside Windows - games brought them via the DirectX installer. A fresh Windows 10/11 has the modern core but none of the old helpers.
People read DirectX 11, see they have DirectX 12 and assume all is well - but d3dx11_43.dll lives in the optional legacy runtime, not in the OS.
The bundled DirectX step in older installers is often cancelled - the game then lacks its helper libraries on first launch.
One downloaded file usually summons the next missing name - the runtime is a matched set, and DLL sites are a known malware channel.
Stay safe: only Microsoft's own site - the End-User Runtime is the single legitimate source of this file.
Because d3dx11_43.dll is not part of DirectX 11 proper - it is an optional helper from the legacy runtime that games of that era used. Windows never included it, whatever version you run; the End-User Runtime adds it in a minute.
Yes - both ship in the same DirectX End-User Runtime, so one install covers both errors; our D3DX9_43.dll guide covers that variant.
No - the file is not part of the driver. Driver updates matter for actual rendering problems; a missing d3dx11 helper is solved only by installing the runtime that contains it.
Outbyte PC Repair checks the system and shows what it found - then waits. Nothing is applied without your OK, and a restore point lets you undo changes.
