Bluetooth vanished from your PC?

A missing toggle, failed pairing or a radio that disappears after sleep often trace back to the Bluetooth driver. A free scan identifies the radio installed in your PC and shows its driver state - no Device Manager digging.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Bluetooth disappeared

The toggle is gone from Windows settings, or the radio shows an error like Code 43 in Device Manager.

Devices won't pair

Headphones or a mouse connect to other computers, but not to this PC.

Drops after sleep or an update

Bluetooth works until the PC sleeps or installs a Windows update, then vanishes.

No idea which radio is inside

The radio is usually part of the Wi-Fi card and hides behind USB codes - the laptop model alone doesn't tell you the driver.

A free scan can identify the installed hardware and show available driver information.

How it works

1. Scan

The application identifies the hardware installed on your PC and checks the current driver information.

2. Review

See detected devices, installed driver versions and available updates. Nothing changes during the scan.

3. Choose what to update

Review the results and decide which available updates you want to apply.

See the problem before deciding what to do

A license is required only if you choose to apply the available updates.

Frequently asked questions

Why is identifying a Bluetooth module hard manually?

Bluetooth radios are usually part of the Wi-Fi card and show up under USB identifiers (VID/PID) rather than a product name. Vendors also ship the same laptop model with different radios, so the laptop model alone doesn't tell you which driver you need.

Will the scan fix pairing problems by itself?

No promises - the scan identifies your radio and shows available driver updates. An outdated or replaced driver is one common cause of pairing failures, but not the only one. You review the results and decide what to apply.

Bluetooth is completely gone from Device Manager. Can the scan still see it?

Often yes - a radio that lost its driver typically shows up as an unknown or misidentified device, which the scan can recognize by its hardware identifiers. If the radio is disabled in BIOS or physically failed, no software can detect it.

Will anything change without my permission?

No. Nothing changes during the scan. Driver updates are applied only after you review the results and choose what to update.

Can I review or skip individual updates?

Yes. Each detected item can be reviewed, applied or skipped individually. Backup and restore options are available before updates are applied, so a previous driver version can be restored if necessary.

What exactly is downloaded?

The button downloads Outbyte Driver Updater, a Windows desktop application. The website itself does not scan your computer in the browser - the check runs in the application after you install and start it.

When is a license required?

The scan and results are free. A license is required only if you choose to download and apply the available updates. Current pricing and license terms are shown before purchase.

Supports Windows 11 and 10 · Uninstall anytime via Settings → Apps · If no updates are found, the scan still shows the current driver state of your devices.
