Manual driver installation

Method 1
If you know which driver you need, visit the manufacturer's website, find the required driver, and download it to your PC. To select the right driver, you need to know the device type and your operating system version.

Download the driver via Device Manager. How to open Device Manager:
  • In Windows 11, 10, and 8.1, right-click the "Start" menu and select "Device Manager."
  • In Windows 8, swipe up from the bottom or right-click anywhere on the desktop, select "All Apps" -> swipe or scroll to the right and choose "Control Panel" (under "Windows System") -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager.
  • In Windows 7, click "Start" -> "Control Panel" -> "Hardware and Sound" -> "Device Manager."
  • How to install drivers using Device Manager:
  • Find the device causing the issue, double-click it to open "Properties."
  • Go to the "Driver" tab.
  • Click "Uninstall" and follow the instructions.
  • For reinstallation, either insert the manufacturer's disk or run the downloaded installer, following the instructions.
  • If you want to simply update the driver, press "Update Driver" in the "Properties" window and follow the instructions.
